Beit Hashalom: Palestinians remove left-wing activists
-- INN
Beit Hashalom is the house ni Hebron that had been bought from a Palestinian by a Jew. After moving a bunch of Jewish families into the house, the Palestinian reneged on the deal saying he had not actually sold it. The government removed the Jews from the complex. After a number of years in the court system, the Supreme Court recently decided that the house is owned by the Jewish buyer and the government must allow them to move back in.
According to this news story, left-wing activists went to protest the Jewish presence in the house. A short while after they got there, a group of local Arabs chased them away, saying that their presence is damaging to the coexistence and quiet that has developed in the area.
