Tweet of the Day

translation:
50 kilogram of smuggled fruits and vegetables were taken today in two incidents, at Ben Gurion Airport and at the Allenby Crossing. On a flight from France to Israel, a French tourist was found to be smuggling in to Israel 30kg of pineapples. At the Allenby Crossing, 20kg of fruit, originally from Indonesia, was caught.

I remember the days when people would smuggle in fax machines to Israel. Later it became cellphones. Now it is pineapples. Funny, but it makes sense considering how much fresh pineapple costs in Israel!
