    The response doesn't touch the main crux of the issues raised in the article.

    The article wasn't really against some women learning gemara. Rather, it was against:

    1) Making this a pastime for all women to engage in
    2) Celebrating it with a large siyum the same way men do

    Sara Schenirer would definitely not have endorsed such blurring of the lines between men and women to this extent. To suggest she would is wrongheaded.
