Swedish meatballs coming to Bet Shemesh

The news is reporting that the government has decided in, light of the Corona crisis, to grant the permits to IKEA Eshtaol (the new branch just outside bet Shemesh) to open, despite the zoning violations and the other legalities that have been holding it up. the government decided that with everything ready and hundreds of employees that are waiting to begin work, it is prudent to let them open and work out the legal issues later, seemingly by paying a bunch of fines.

I don't know who they paid off, nor do I care. I am just happy we will have our Swedish meatballs just minutes away...

  1. The Health Ministry allowed IKEA to open before any other similar business was permitted to do so. Doesn't this decision fall under Litzman's new portfolio?
