I received this by email from a friend, and the comparison of situations is sharp...
If Al Qaeda sent a "Peace Ship with their peace activists" to American shores what would America do? If the Chechnya sent a "Peace" ship to the shores of Russia what would the Russian navy do? So why does Israel think it has to act more Christian than the Pope? I guess world opinion is more important, than Jewish soldiers lives. Barak should be sent immediately into retirement.
The email also mentioned that Youtube wants to remove the following video that was uploaded by the IDF which is a close up, with audio, of what happened as soldiers boarded the ship. The email said Youtube wants to remove it because it has very few views. There are tons of videos on Youtube that have no, or almost no, views at all, so I don't know why this video with over 10,000 views would be removed for that reason. So I don't know if that is true or not, or maybe they want to remove it for other reasons. Either way, the video is damning.
how does he know youtube wants to remove it?
ReplyDeleteI dont know. I said I dont know if its true. I have not yet googled it
ReplyDeleteI am pretty sure it is not true. A quick google search shows that that same notice was sent out previously with other videos from the IDF. Either it is just an alarmist message to urge people to click the video, or perhaps Youtube has tried to take down the whole IDF channel, which I doubt.
ReplyDeleteThese "Google wants to remove " emails are all hoaxes and designed to provoke chain spam emails draw people's attention to the content.
ReplyDeleteI agree about Barak. I'll never understand whose idea it was to equip IDF soldiers with paintball guns and prohibit them from throwing Raed Salah overboard as justice for Leon Klinghoffer. I am only saddened the anti-Semites were not all killed and killing them would have been the right thing to do. Israel should have torpedoed the boats and sunk them to indicate the kind of measures it will take to protect itself in a war being waged against it.
ReplyDeleteOf course the youtube thing is a hoax. We need to be a bit more sophisticated here.
ReplyDeleteMore importantly, like it or not, the al qaeda analogy is simply not fair. The flotilla has the clear objective of breaking the siege, not invading sovriegn Israel. You can surely be of the opinion that Israel has the right to besiege Gaza, but you cannot claim a parallel for the US territorial waters.
Rafi, do you still give 100,000 to a banker in nigeria who is holding ten million dollars for you? or perhaps you foward emails from dying cancer patients b/c aol gives them dime for each email forwarded??
ReplyDeleteThe country of Britain: has condemned Israel's actions - as "barbaric." Together with the UN and other European countries.
ReplyDeleteLet us just remember who the barbarians truly are.
It was Britain: that went out of its way to sink the ships of escaping refugees from WW2. That is how barbaric and evil the British are.
And it was Churchill – who refused all the pleas of Menachem Begin, the Head of the Irgun - to stop the barbaric killing of the refugees on all the boats which the British sank.
Churchill was no hero of WW2, as he is made out to be. He showed his true colours as a barbarian more savage than the Germans.
Churchill could have prevented the murder of millions of Jews by Hitler. Instead, he waited for the Germans to quietly "finish the job." And Churchill himself, was evil enough to order the sinking of the refugee ships of those who had escaped the Germans.
Shall we all subject Britain to international isolation and condemnation? How about an investigation into Britain’s wartime crimes? Or shall we have international sanctions against Britain?
shame on u israel! bull shits!
