When it was time to say kaddish, at the Frankel funeral, Mrs. Rachel Frankel, and their son, joined Mr. Frankel and they all said kaddish aloud, together.
There has been an unexpected ruckus raised over this - a woman saying kaddish! Feminism? something new? is she Reform? etc.
The fact that some people have never seen such a thing before, something that is common enough at funerals, and that this could shock them, just shows you how sheltered some people actually are.
