Weapons of Mass Destruction seemignly discovered in someone's backpack

A young man, hitchhiking by Kessem Junction on his way home to the Shomron, was picked up by the police and detained for questioning after a search of his possessions uncovered dangerous materials - magic markers..

That's right. the cop found a package of magic markers in this kids backpack, and immediately suspected him of heading to perform an act of "tag mechir" and thus detained him. They searched his bag after he allowed them to, to prove that he wasnt on his way to do a tag mechir attack.

The kid explained these are highlighters for marking up his books and denied any intent to perform a tag mechir act, but the police detained him anyway.

arrested and will spend the night in jail for having magic markers in his bag?

I think they should shut down all office supply stores and toy stores for selling weapons of mass destruction in the forms of magic markers...

They should make it illegal to sell markers. At least not to religious people.

With all that is going on, riots in Jerusalem, stone throwing, kidnappings, murders, etc. and they are arresting people who are caught carrying magic markers.  Thank you Mr Policeman for protecting us from the real dangers of society.

As I said the other day, the police system really needs to be reformed...
