    Did they use white-out on the "A"? The original version said "USA Embassy".

    It really should be "American." "US" or "USA" is not an adjective.

      It is in proper Spanish, as it happens- Estadounidense- but that's not English.

    There are precedents to using US as an adjective. The phrase "US President", for example. It may not be "proper" English, but it's becoming an acceptable usage.
