Here it is:
considering Mishpacha policy to not print images of women, this is a shocking breach of policy. I would like them to explain if their spiritual guidance committee of rabbis approved this and if so to lease explain why it is ok to change the policy, or why an exception can be made for these women. A policy of 'no women" means no women. They have always said that even tzanua-dressed women cannot be published, so why are these any different.
Personally I think these might actually be men dressed up as women, so it might be ok because of that. As well, if you look closely the faces have been blurred and pixelated under their burqas, so perhaps that makes it to be considered compliant.

It's like saying they put a picture of a house on the cover and there are women inside. This is not a picture of woman. This is a picture of a burka with baby burkas.
ReplyDeleteThis is why the Jewish world (and the rest of the world too) is in such a mess. There are such extremes now, that these crazies no longer adhere to Torah but take on the extremes of other religions, r'l. This is because of the extremes on the opposite side of Torah who are like the goyim already anyway. Unless, we get back to being normal yirei Shamayim living according to true Torah, how can there be normalcy or unity?
ReplyDeleteHow do you know it is a picture of a woman?
ReplyDeleteas I wrote, this might be men underneath the shmattas

ReplyDeleteIsn't this picture showing the backs of these people? Are you referring to this picture or picture(s) inside the magazine?
ReplyDeleteI am referring to this picture. I didnt see the pictures from inside. yes, this is from the backs. doesnt really matter, as mishpacha doesnt print the backs of women either. my comment about blurred faces (and being men dressed up ) was meant to be taken as humorous..
