This is David Schoen, Donald Trump's lead attorney at the Senate Impeachment hearing.... covering his head with his hand as he drinks water.
This was the talk of the town last night and early this morning. It was both ridiculed and held up in esteem. I saw it described as a kiddush hashem, and I saw it described in the most ridiculous and funny ways. I am not sure it is either. It just is someone putting his hand on his head as he drank a cup of water.

correct. as awkward as this seems to have been, that would have been much more awkward. this was probably just instinctive.
DeleteHe should just always wear his kippah. Would have been easier and looked better! But, the main thing he was working for justice.
