They are probably burning more gas/money waiting to fill up than the few shekels they will be saving by filling up tonight rather than tomorrow.
We should all be striking though, not running to fill up ours cars. Instead of rushing to fill up and save a few shekels one time before the price hike, we should all not use our cars for a week or two and pressure the government to cut the gasoline taxes. I read once that 60% of the price of gas in Israel is the taxes.
