do what you want, just don't let them see
Rav Dovid Cohen, rosh yeshiva of Chevron Yeshiva, recently spoke at a national conference of heads of institutions (Haredi schools) about the need for them to hide their [kosher] smartphones form their students, as the students don't understand that they need to send emails and be in contact with others...
briefly, you can basically do what you want, as long as you make sure other people don't see...
I have heard similar explanations of how this society works from other rabbonim...

when Temple Mount cannot be called Temple Mount
Until now you could not say "Shma Yisrael" or any other Jewish prayer on Temple Mount, and doing so would put you at risk of arrest.
Now, you cannot even say "Temple Mount" on Temple Mount.
According to the Times of Israel, someone giving a tour on Har Habayit called it the "Temple Mount" during his talk, as is very common. A Waqf official nearby got upset that he called it Temple mount instead of Harim Al Sharif and complained to the police. Though the police said there is nothing wrong with saying Temple Mount and it is not grounds for arrest, they did warn/advise the guide to not use those words.
When you keep giving in to terrorists and unreasonable demands, despite being in the right, they will keep making more and more of such unreasonable demands. And then what will be next?

Facebook Status of the Day
translation:
So, we joked about the plastic bags, etc. But practically it is disgusting. It is disgusting that people with "green" agendas set our daily routines, on what we have to spend money and when. despite the crazy complications it causes to all of us, and despite the fact that it turns out that the multi-use bags are not healthy to use...
They try to educate us to be like the.
I am not interested
I want to use a lot of bags.
But not simply use bags. I want everyone to use a lot of bags.
So, form now on, I am designating a shnekel (a two-shekel coin) for purchasing 20 plastic bags.
I used less? The person after me in line will benefit.
So now you have made me more socially aware. That too is something.

Picture of the Day
Kipa posted this selfie of MKs Tzipi Hotovely and Yehuda Glick in tefillin in the Knesset chambers. Kipa claims this is the first time someone was wearing tefillin in the Knesset chambers. I did a quick search to check that and all I could come up with was an article from last year about a night long filibuster in which MK Yisroel Eichler brought his tefillin to the Knesset, though he was not wearing them. Glick out his tefillin on this morning to daven after a night long filibuster session debating and voting on the new broadcasting authority. Hotovely decided to document the scene with a selfie...

helping someone buy apartments
Yated Neeman ran a classified ad today that is intriguing..
The poster is looking for a young couple that does not own an apartment who are prepare to purchase an investment apartment in their names and register it with the mortgage in their own names in projects around the country, with no financial investment of their own, with fair payment and profit sharing.
It seems pretty clear this is a scam, tax fraud, and illegal, making me wonder why Yated would run such an ad.
The person behind it must wish to avoid the new "third apartment" tax and probably also hide his money from various other taxes and authorities. This could also be money laundering.
Anybody who calls the number and signs on is at risk not just for participating in illegal activity but for get shafted by the person behind the ad. There is no honor among thieves.
And, don't forget, if you help this person buy apartment sin your name, when you eventually buy your own apartment you might not qualify for various benefits due to already being registered with an apartment or two on your name.
