Quote of the Day

I definitely support people going abroad for a few years as part of shlichut or in a business framework. The two-way flow helps the Israeli economy a lot. They learn a lot and bring home that knowledge. My wife and I lived for a number of years in New York when I served as Director of my company. We got a tremendous amount from that period and until today I take advantage of that knowledge that I accumulated..

-- Minister of Economics and Trade Naftali Bennet, arguing with Min. Yair Lapid and Uzi Dayan who recently criticized Israelis who go to live abroad..

  1. Big deal Bennet. I know a family who went on educational shlichut in the States, came back with enough money to buy an apartment, then move up to a 'villa', and then shortly after, go back to the States.
