This morning I davened at the shteibelach in RBS-B and a choosid asked me if I would like the zechus of driving 4 avreichim to cheftziba, because they are trying to take a body for autopsy.
The law says you are jewish if your mother is jewish. Yuri Foreman's mother is not jewish. Yes, he converted, however, he continued to fight on Shabbath throughout his boxing career. So, what's the point of conversion?
I just feel like pointing out that we don't lay teffilin on Shabbat, so the transition between teffilin and ten-ounce gloves isn't going to be so poetically drastic.

The violence involved is unbelievable.

Maybe they love violence.
