So you can't judge a religion by the people who practice it - and you can't judge it by the rules of science, logic, or reason - because religion is the antithesis and you can't judge it by our standards of morality - because it doesn't match up
so what standards do you use to judge a religion other than having been born into a specific one?
If you can find a religion, culture, sect etc. with a strict moral code that causes all of its adherents including those born into it, to follow its moral code completely let me know I'd be interested.
Religions, moral codes, legal codes are all built on the assumption that people will not always follow them 100%. That is why they all legislate consequences.
Duh, it's the School that he owns! This has been expected for a year already. Supposedly he funneled $3M to the School of which $1M has been returned. From speaking to people there, they seem to think the school will be fine and that there is enough "wealth" in the community to support a bailout if returning more funds is necessary.

But it is the difference between believing in truth because it has been examined and found to be true, or following tradition as unthinking and unquestioned dogma, by mere arbitrary accident of birth.
and definetely DON"T JUDGE THE RELIGION BY THE Jews who are SO Willing and QUICK TO JUDGE A BROTHER and SPREAD absolute lashon Harah, Rechilus, and Motzi Shem Rah when he hasn't been convicted of anything. We're so quick to throw each other under the bus. Not sure according to Halacha who has done the worse deed here (oh well, since he hasn't been convicted and the writer, publisher, and commentators on this article are in clear violation of Halacha, I guess we know the answer to that question!)

I think I know the school showed as having received some money, but I don't want to say, as its not clear weather they did anything wrong.
