New Music Video in Solidarity with Yehuda Glick: We Will Ascend (video)

from INN:
Mordechai Yitzhar wrote and composed a song dedicated to Yehuda Glick's recovery.
Glick, a leading advocate for Jewish rights on the Temple Mount, was shot last Wednesday evening outside of the Begin Heritage Center in Jerusalem. He has been in intensive care at Shaarei Tzedek Medical Center since the assassination attempt.
A prayer march for Glick will take place Thursday night. Marchers will walk from the front of the Begin Heritage Center to the gates of the Temple Mount.
Some of the song's poignant lyrics include: "Our souls burning from the inside, this Temple has been our home for generations, a house of prayer for all nations."
It includes footage from Glick's countless visits to the Temple Mount, as well as visits by MK Moshe Feiglin, who has been outspoken on the issue of Jewish prayer rights there.
Despite its status as Judaism's holiest site, Jews are forbidden by Israeli authorities from worshiping on the Temple Mount in response to Muslim pressure. Increasingly, activists have been challenging those restrictions; the video includes footage of one group which managed to smuggle a set of Arba Minim - the Four Species of plants waved during prayers on the Sukkot festival - onto the site.
The men were later arrested.
It also includes footage of Muslim harassment of Jews on the Mount, including a clip of one particularly ugly incident in which a group of hassidic children and their families were mobbed by throngs of Muslim extremists.
The song ends on an optimistic note: "We will merit in our days to see (restored) the days of yore, and the songs of the Levites will be heard in our land."

  1. AWESOME. I'd love to go back to Israel again and be toured by Rabbi Yehuda Glick and get HIS perspective on things. He was such a nice guy when I met him in May 2014. I wish him well and health and healing. I also hope Facebook reopens his account because he is a Man of Peace. Shalom from USA........
