Trump in church in a tallit
After speaking at an African-American church in Detroit, the Great Faith Ministries, the pastor draped a prayer shawl, a tallit, over Trump's shoulders and gifted him with a Jewish Heritage Study Bible.
That is all fine and good. It just makes me wonder, why? do they not have any of their own prayer accessories? all a church in Detroit could find to gift a presidential candidate is Jewish paraphernalia? weird.

I admit I'm a lot less concerned about the "cultural appropriation" (although why the pastor selected this or thought that this was an appropriate gift to give Trump mystifies me, too) than the fact that the newsfeed coverage of Trumps and the pastor's positive remarks were rather blatantly cut (there is feed with the voices of the cameraman arguing with his bosses/crew over cutting the camera).
