ReplyDeleteThere are a number of "Palestine"s in the US, along with a lot of other cities with Biblical names. The "Palestine"s are of course named for the Jewish homeland, not for Arabs. The one in Ohio is pronounced "Palesteen," maybe to avoid associations with the Arabs.
