An agent brought some people, Haredim, to a moshav (Bustan Hagalil) up north near Akko to look at some property for an investment.

I have heard of defining Judaism by the Holocaust in the past. I remember it as having been in the sense of "He was Jewish enough for the Nazis to kill.." to determine jewishness. An editorial in the Yated Neeman took the idea to a new low.

P Hovav writes a letter, as if to US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, regarding the concern over the removal of women from the public sphere. She makes a number of points, most of which I will not address. Hovav's final point is the shocker.

Hovav says the Nazis proved how basic the gender-separation is. She says it is so basic that the Nazis herded men into mens chambers and women into womens chambers without even discussing it. Men and women were kept in separate barracks, without even thinking about it.

That is how basic the concept of gender-segregation is, at least to P Hovav and the Yated Neeman. Even the Nazis considered it a basic concept.

I would suggest that if one looked at the Nazis, in their own lives, their was no gender-segregation. You would not see gender-segregation at Nazi rallies. You did not see it in the public transportation of Germany. Women sang in public in Germany. The fact that they treated the Jews like this, applying gender-segregation while mass-murdering us, should perhaps actually be seen as another form of dehumanization. I would say it proves exactly the opposite of the point that P Hovav was trying to prove.

That, however, was not the main point I wanted to make. What I really want to say is that if we are going to learn from the Nazis what is appropriate behavior and conduct, we might come to the conclusion that it is a basic, a given, that all Jews must be killed. They also did that without the blink of an eye. Why only learn one thing from the Nazis, and not from everything they did?

I find it deplorable that P Hovav and the Yated Neeman would lower themselves to learn from the Nazis and the Holocaust how basic gender-segregation is. Perhaps it is indicative of how weak their actual arguments are.

And the truth of the matter is, I am disgusted that they had the chutzpah and insensitivity to print such a thought. Even to come up with such a thought is shocking, and then to print it??!! I am disgusted that I have to write about something like this.

This is sick, but I guess one cannot expect any better from the Hamas sickos. They must have become such moderates to have signed a unity deal with Fatah.

For five years now, Hamas has been holding Gilad Shalit but failed to secure the release of Palestinian prisoners in exchange for the abducted IDF soldier. One group member wrote the following message on Facebook: "We need to abduct a soldier who will become a female Shalit, so they get married and bring us a bunch of Shalits."

Next week will mark the five-year anniversary of Gilad Shalit's abduction.

Just sick.

If what is written there is true, the police picked him up in Modiin and found money he collected "on behalf of Hatzalah", along with fake passports each with different names from various countries.

The fellow in question is British. he showed up in RBS last week from England. he is driving a silver Mercedes with English license plates, and has hatzalah stickers and lights on his car, and he dresses with hatzalah vests and passes perfectly as a hatzalah person.

That being said, he has not been seen in RBS this week. The thought is that RBS is too small for him - it is difficult to not be noticed. He is probably basing himself in a larger city (Jerusalem probably) and moving from neighborhood to neighborhood, showing up in different areas at different times.

This person moved around England, and has been under numerous investigations. He has gotten out of them because in the end nobody would ever testify against him. I am told he is wealthy and "powerful" and has been known to threaten his accusers, which cause them to back down.

And he preys on young boys and teenage girls.

So keep your eyes open.

Again, Hatzalah RBS has nothign to do with this guy. He is an impostor.

That being said, Hatzalah RBS has taken a big hit recently. I am told that because of the financial problems, people are using hatzalah more than before (rather than MDA - so as to avoid having to pay MDA's ambulatory charge), yet donations are scarcer also because of the financial troubles people are in. This is a public service warning that you should be aware of your surroundings and pay attention to whom you are dealing with.

I don't have any specific details yet about this, but it seems there is someone going around the neighborhood, dressed up as a member of Hatzalah, and "molesting" children. I don't know how far the molesting goes, but he seems to get the kids attention and trust by posing as a beloved member of Hatzalah.

I am only posting this even though I don't know too many details because of the gravity of the situation, and the fact that anyway it is good to teach kids not to speak to strangers, no matter what uniform they are wearing. As well, many people already know about it, chain calls are going around telling people to not leave their kids alone outside, etc.

So keep your eyes open...
