actually, I understand your point. but the difference I think is: mordechai was stopping them from participating with a goyish king and his parties. he wasn't walking down the street yelling at people who were only dealing with Jews. In our situation, The "fanatics" in our day, want to control every minutae of our lifes, unlike Mordechai who was addressing one or two issues that he saw as a problem.
they are always ticked off over there. Fiesty might be a better word. My regular crowd here is more tame (on a general basis), so posting over there is a whole different experience!
