PA threatens again
The PA has threatened to dismantle itself and "hand the keys" back to Israel.
The threat is because of Israel's decision to withhold the PA tax monies as a result of the PA's unilateral move applying for membership in the ICC.
Forgetting for a moment the fact that the PA owes hundreds of millions of shekels (or even over a billion, depending on which report is more current) to Israel for electricity and other things. Theoretically, that debt should be deducted form any tax money Israel has to pass along to the PA., though for some unknown reason it is not. As if Israel has so much extra money that we can afford to fund the PA...
Besides for that, the "threat" is something a very large part of the country would wish for. The threat is basically saying we will go away and go back to the situation before the "peace process" was imposed on Israel. Not much of a threat, I think. I mean, nobody really wants to rule over another people, nor does anybody want the continuation of conflict, but the peace process has not yet shown itself to have effected any better of a situation than what was in place prior to the peace process.
So, are they bluffing again, or will they carry out ther threat this time?
