ReplyDeleteIt really should be "American." "US" or "USA" is not an adjective.
ReplyDeleteIt is in proper Spanish, as it happens- Estadounidense- but that's not English.
DeleteThere are precedents to using US as an adjective. The phrase "US President", for example. It may not be "proper" English, but it's becoming an acceptable usage.
