ReplyDeleteYes. He is an extreme leftist, but not in Peace Now. He had an illustrious military career. His father was Chief of Staff of the army, he was in the crack commando unit Sereyet Hatkal serving in the Entebbe raid, and was head of the unit in the 1980s. When he became minister he resisted pressure to cancel the Jerusalem march. I don't understand his statement yesterday.
