Quote of the Day

The handful of rioters who desecrate the name of God must be condemned with all force. The Torah of Israel is the path of pleasantness and all its paths are peace. Their behavior has no place among us, they must be denounced and expelled from the camp.

-- Rav Yitzchak Yosef, former Chief Rabbi of Israel

of all the condemnations of the riots happening right now in Bnei Braq in which soldiers were attacked and property destroyed, I chose the one above from Rav Yosef because a few months ago Rav Yosef said in his shiur a statement directed to yeshiva bochurim that they should not be afraid of Military Police coming to arrest them but instead should rise up against them.. (as far as I know the soldiers who were in Bnei Braq were not military police, but I might be wrong...)

  1. From what I've read, it was two young women soldiers going to visit a women soldier in the city.
This is RYY doing damage control as another example of Chareidi barbarism encouraged by its leadership hits the airwaves.

  2. Yozchak Yosef is a hypocrite and a liar - and definitely not a "Chacham". After all, he is the one who called for "rising up" against police who come to arrest draft dodgers - and if he could not see that riots like this would result, he was clearly not able to be "ro'eh especially hanolad".
