Unfortunately, the BY did not run on a clear platform at all. Did people really know that this was going to be a lite party supporting hillul Shabbat and encouraging giur? Well, most of Chabad did and stayed away. We also have a few prominent rabbis who also retracted their support. The BY did follow my advice of keeping the Tkuma people out of the limelight and to make sure the candidates spoke as little as possible.
