The Institute for Modesty in Culture
The funniest, and strangest, thing I have seen in a while is the promotion of a "tzniyus goy".
If you need to check out a movie or a museum or a conference, and are unsure about whether it is appropriate from a tzniyus perspective, this organization will send on your behalf a "tzniyus goy" to check it out and rate it for you.
The "Machon L'Tzniyut b'Tarbut", Rav Yechiel Shtartman, The Institute of Modesty in Culture, has a Facebook page promoting his initiative, and has already out out a Youtube video.
to me it looks fake, like some sort of a joke. The only problem is that he spent a lot of money making the video and promoting it via advertising, and it is hard to believe he would burn that kind of money on a joke.
Anyway, here is the video:
It is strange enough that I'll definitely be looking for the follow-up that us sure to come soon...

They misspelled the word tarbut - it needs a patach, not a kamatz. Must be a fake!
ReplyDeleteIt's a fake. It's a promo campaign for something that will be announced next week.
