Proposed Law: BDS against BDS
and here is one that just does not look good to me, nor do I see quite how it can work... I disagree with supporters of the BDS, but they have a right to their opinion.
MK Yanon Magal (Habayit Hayehudi) has proposed a law by which any foreigner supporting the BDS movement will be denied entry into Israel. Exceptions can be made with special permission from the Minister of Interior. This law proposal includes Jews, who technically can always come under the Law of Return, and would require them to get special permission from the Minister of Interior.

Instead of banning them perhaps we should work to invite more of them to come visit and see facts on the ground. Take them on special tours designed to show them the relevant issues and open their minds a bit. Maybe they would rethink their positions and soften or change them...

Rafi, how do you feel about the Illinois state legislature ban on doing business with any company that supports BDS? It was a bill sponsored by State Senator Ira Silverstein - a frum Jew - and passed unanimously by both houses, BTW. It is now law.
