Bnei Braq comes in fifth place!
The Director of the Postal Authority has announced the list of cities receiving the most packages of products ordered online...
Out of all the Israeli cities, Bnei Brak has come in 5th!

Is it about the Internet or Haredim receiving things from overseas.
ReplyDeleteit is about the internet. the wealth/poor issue was another point I had started to write and then deleted it after thinking it wasn't a good point, and I accidentally left part of it in. Deleting it now
ReplyDeleteHow does the post office know that a package from abroad contains something ordered off the internet?
ReplyDeletewhen a package comes in, let's say for example, a NEXT bag from the UK or from Amazon in the USA, or from Ali Express in China, I think they can make an assumption...
DeleteYou can't identify Ali Express orders. It's a marketplace (like eBay). The packages come from a seller, and there's no way to know it was ordered on Ali Express.
Deleteyet the packages still come from China, and it is usually a pretty safe assumption as to how they were ordered
