Degel Hatorah will work to advance  an amendment to the law to lower the minimum threshold for Knesset, in order to allow Degel to run separately and keep all its options on the table... we in Degel Hatorah are not afraid to run separately, it is not a threat [from Agudat Yisrael]. It also is not unreasonable to consider that we might run next time together with Shas

I don't know why Shas would agree to this. what would they benefit from such an arrangement? Just to bring in more people who will eventually think they aren't getting their due respect and fair share?  I wouldn't mind seeing it, but I don't see it happening..
