antisemitic campaign in Ashdod (video)
this campaign video for someone campaigning for city council in Ashdod is ridiculously, awesomely, insanely, stereotypically anti-semitic... besides for using the blood of secular kids for matza baking I am not sure if they left anything else out of the list!
The candidate using this video in his material should be banned from running for office

Why not ? Thats what everyone said would happen in Beit Shemesh last election if G-d forbid Abutbol won again. Streets filled with hate spewing Extremists, spitting at children all the time and it would be the LAST elections where non-Chareidim had a chance. What's wrong with this scare tactic - because it offends you too (as opposed to only the Chareidim?)

ReplyDeleteI disagree. This may be extremely anti religious, but it is not antisemitic. Given the edicts that come down from my son's yeshiva here in Brooklyn and these are after they are tapered to just be on the line so 1/2 the parent body do not say we had enough and put their kids elsewhere I am not surprised to see this come from E"Y where the animosity between frum and not frum are much higher.
ReplyDeleteLoved the sheet with a hole in it - nothing quite like perpetuating a myth when you are running for elected office.
ReplyDeleteIts a Gerrer thing. They wear their 'talit kattan' which isn't so kattan.
DeleteAre there really people in Israel so utterly ignorant that they pronounce Yeshiva "Yesheiva"? Even in Tom's River, where they fought the same battle and lost, they know better.
ReplyDeleteA lot of Israelis, religious or not, adopt an exaggerated Ashkenazi accent when using "religious" words.
DeleteIt turns out that this candidate isn't anti-religious at all. He loves religion! Yes, he loves Messianic Judaism! What a breath of fresh excrement!
