there are definitely different levels of stupidity.

One level might be being anti-vax - against vaccines, claiming or believing that they cause more harm than good and are really just promoted in order to increase the profits of big pharma while making many people get sick and even die from them.

Another level would be being anti-vax, contracting a disease that until now has almost been eradicated in the Western world, and then going to public places, especially public places in a community with other anti-vaxxers, and exposing other unvaccinated people to the disease.

That is what happened when someone went on Sukkos to New Square and went to shul and the communal sukka for the various events after having contracted measles. There is now a health warning issued for the community and residents have to get themselves checked.

That behavior is stupid and should be considered criminal. You want to be stupid and let yourself get sick from a rare disease, go ahead, but at least stay home and don't expose everyone else to it.
