Quote of the Day
I wish that the Labor Party would respect women as much as we do. You only know to attack us and to preach morality. In my role as mayor I integrated women in all key roles in City Hall, and not in a denigrating way as Avi Gabbay did with Tzippi Livni..

Does Shas now allow women on their lists? Or is this the typical hypocrisy and double-standards we expect from Charedi parties?
ReplyDeleteShas does not. It is the typical we respect women the most (and we show it by keeping them private and to ourselves, though here he says he appointed them to key roles)
DeleteBy the way, I pointed this out to some other people who pay attention more and would know better than me and asked if it is true or not. The response I received from one was that he did such a bad job that he ensured a woman would get elected mayor in his place, and now there is a women as deputy mayor as well, and female director of the Iryah and other women in top positions, so he can get thanks for that
