Saar and Netanyahu should make peace

According to reports in the news, the Likud led by PM Benjamin Netanyahu had a party meeting to set guidelines for the upcoming election campaign, and Gideon Saar was not invited to participate. As well, in another meeting with the PM and senior Likud leadership, Saar was again not invited to participate.

I do not know what is going on between them, but I hope for their sake and for the Likud's sake that they come to peace with each other and find a way to work together. Saar is very popular among Likud voters and is considered a potential natural successor to Netanyahu. Saar is considered so popular and such a serious candidate that despite Netanyahu working actively against him in the recent Likud primaries and trying to thwart his taking a leadership position, Saar still was voted into the top 5.

Degel and Agudat Yisrael were able to come to terms and work toether. Lapid and Gantz were able to put their egos aside, come to terms and work together. Habayit Hayehudi and Otzma Yehudit were able to come to terms and work together. It would behoove the Likud leadership to work to bringing its ranks to a peaceful working arrangement, at minimum, and at least have cordial relations between Netanyahu and Saar that will allow them both to work for the success of the party, and the country.

The only ones that will be hurt by this friction continuing are the Likud.
