When Menachem Begin signed the peace treaty with Egypt on the White House lawn, he quoted a possuk in his speech. He took out a yarmulka to read the possuk. Both R. Soloveichik and the Lubavitcher Rebbe called that a kiddush Hashem.
Same here. Very heartening to hear someone, especially and Orthodox Jew, giving credit to the Almighty in public.
