  1. Wow.

I think he does a real disservice by not dealing with their very thin claims of human rights and international law.

He can claim the bible all he wants, but no one's listening.

The other guy was a real lightweight and should have been manhandled.

  2. Dr. Kedar was much more fluid (you can see his videos on youtube), but to his credit, they never really let him talk and finish what he was trying to say.

  3. I think that R' Fleisher did an excellent job. His arguments, although they won't be readily accepted by the Muslims, secularists, or the Jew haters, is the only true argument.

  4. What an embarassment.

Al-Jazeera sure knows how to pick people who can't intelligently defend their own position to others.

  5. Cosmic,

I agree that they are the only true argument, but Al Jazeera is not the place to make them. When truth is on your side, you don't have to waste your time proving it to others. If you want to prove it to others, then you have to present arguments that they will accept.

  6. It's not the only true argument.

It wouldn't be the worst thing in the world to demonstrate that international law and human rights might actually be on our side, especially when it's clear that the other guy doesn't have a clue.

  7. Jeremy,

What I meant that all the other arguments, while I believe them to be true, could (potentially) be disproven or strongly argued against. However, the fact that the land was given to us will always be true (of course, the Torah also says that the land can be taken away from us....)

  8. Sorry, Rafi, I gave up 4 minutes into this. I couldn't watch Rabbi Flesicher burying himself (albeit earnestly) when there are legitamite arguments to be made here that might be accepted by an Al-Jazeera audience.
