the fight among the litvishe factions in the Haredi community is continuing, and perhaps even getting stronger.  Kikar is reporting on a whole slew of shuls and yeshivas in which the traditional chazzan or shofar blower is being removed from his position for being a member of the "wrong" faction. In addition, minyanim are splitting.

On Yom Kippur we say during the Kol Nidre service that we can now pray wit the sinners. It seems that these factions hate each other so much they each consider the other to be worse than sinners, as they refuse to daven with each other!

I also wonder which is worse - being part of the "wrong" faction or owning an iPhone...
