I imagine that you would get very different results depending on which city or neighborhood this survey is done. Think for example bet shemesh which was built out of a transit camp and then became a popular destination for english and french speaking immigrants as well as russians and ethiopians vs something like tsfat or tiveria etc. where the Jewish communities have been their straight for centuries.
