What actually happens here is that the administration doesn't want to take a side and further polarize the region and the reporter asking the question repeatedly ignores the statements that the aide is making, which are that the administration strongly condemned all violence on both sides specifically calling out attacks against Israelis and said that they have expressed hopes for the future that the situation will be improved to both sides
