back to routine or not
BH the COVID-19 infection rate in Israel is looking promising as the number of new infections continues to drop, with the rate of new infections holding steady at a lower pace than that of the number of infected people healing from the virus.
There are different ways to look at the numbers. As with all numbers and statistics.
As well, whatever you think the numbers say, some might take a more stringent approach to avoid the "second wave" and others might take the more open approach to try to get the country and its resident back into some sort of normal functioning routine.
Israel is loosening restrictions. Israel is trying to get the schools and yeshivas back into order and people back into work routines. If you want to be stricter than what the new regulations allow, go ahead and be stricter. If you have the ability to keep your kids home form school longer want want to and feel it is important to, go ahead. If you feel it is fine to follow the guidelines as posted by the government, go back to work, send kids to school, go shopping and do whatever is allowed, go ahead.
I don't think it is necessary to attack anyone, or be upset at anyone, as long as they are within the rules and regulations - whether they are following it according to the letter of the law or even if they are being stricter. There is no need to fight over sending your kids to school - if you can and want to, go ahead and accept that others do not want to yet. If you don't want to, accept that others might need to or want to and that as long as it is done properly and within the guidelines it is fine, even if you wouldn't.
The country needs to get back to some routine at some point, and in Israel and with Jews routine includes some amount of fighting and bickering, but in general people can have different opinions and still respect each other. Let's keep the fighting over this to a minimum. Everyone is trying to do their best to cope with a situation few understand fully.
