reactive rather than proactive
Everyone is excited the Israelis got cute and put these wristbands on the prisoners being released in the hostage deal. The wristbands, with the picture of the Israeli flag, say "the eternal people do not forget", alongside a verse from Tehillim that reads "I will pursue my enemies and catch them"
It is cute but honestly, it is typical Israeli government in relation to terrorists - reactive, not proactive. Reactive, not creative. Israel did this after Hamas did its version of this first, putting wristbands on the hostages being released and giving them swag bags with "mementos" from their time in Gaza... I wish our government would be more creative and proactive. The beeper action was a great example of creativity, but that seems to be the exception (and reportedly it was only actually used because they thought it was about to be discovered, so it was creative but not proactive)

It may be halachically problematic to enter a bathroom with words of a passuk on the wrist!
