oops.. a Chabadnik put tefillin on someone, thinking she was a guy, but she was not.. she later apologized for letting him think she was a guy.. I feel bad for her, a bit, that she was so easily mistaken for a guy... truth is, Chabad must do things like this all the time. There is no way with the amount of people all over the world that they are putting tefillin on that they are not sometimes donning the tefillin on non-Jews, or on women mistaken as men...

There is a new frum video hosting website in the style of Youtube. The new site is called Glatube.

Their goal, as stated, is to provide a video site that is supervised. They have mashgichei kashrus that check every single video to ensure they do not contain any objectionable content, such as sexual, violence, or anything else objectionable.

1. Rock of Galilee has been posting again after a long hiatus. he raises an interesting debate about whether it would be better to not keep the holiday at all, or to keep it incorrectly. His example is a co-worker who likes to eat matza with cream cheese and meat.

2. Hubscubs writes an interesting drasha from Rav Nachman Kahane about the US bailout money being good money thrown after bad... He connects that to what he see as American Judaism (Chicago community being his specific example) attempting to perpetuate itself. They are already planning the next Birkat HaChama in 28 years from now - do they not plan to be in Eretz Yisrael by then? Mashiach? You know - the things we daven for 3 times a day?

I am being lazy and not really writing a real post. I have a couple in the drafts section waiting to be completed and posted, and I have a couple in my head (especially considering the latest political events of this week in Israel), but I am just not in the mood right now.

It seems I have been tagged . The latest thing going around is the game in which you select your two favorite blogs you read. they are then tagged and select theirs, yada yada yada.

I read a bunch of blogs and I like them all. I am not really sure how to choose a favorite, as I like different blogs for different reasons.

So, I will select two blogs, that might or might not be my favorite. I am selecting two blogs that I enjoy reading and I am specifically choosing two blogs that I think are smaller and might not be as well known. They can benefit from the exposure, more than the larger blogs can (not that a link from my sire provides all that much exposure, but every little bit counts).

Also, I am an equal opportunity blogger, so I will take the lead of some other bloggers who did so and I will tag one guy blogger and one gal blogger.
