The Palestinian terrorists are threatening to die in hunger strikes. The government is passing a law to force feed them, and the terrorists and extreme leftists are very angry. This time, I completely agree with them. There is no need to force feed them. Let them die.
This is stupid. The whole point of a hunger strike is that the minute a prisoner actually dies, the pressure to change the conditions that caused the hunger strike will be immense. While Mr. Wortzman may not mind if an individual prisoner dies, the fact that had made this statement indicates that he is lacking the basic competence of being "ro'aeh et hanolad."
