i wont believe this really will pass the Knesset. if it does, do you think there is still hope for the men and women in the government to act as proper human beings?
amazing isn't it? but I guess it is better to take care of the issue for once and for all (either way - whether they make it illegal or legal) rather than continuing to engage in the same battle year after year...

A variation of the proposed law is already practiced in Jerusalem, though not codified into law, and no big stink is made about it in the popular Israeli press. Non-Muslims are prohibited by the Israeli police from praying on the Temple Mount. The reason is also very similar - to prevent a strong reaction of a separate group.
