scoffing at Global Warming
Why is it that when we get three days in the winter that are very cold everybody starts scoffing at Al Gore and the idea of Global Warming, yet when we have 4 months of unrelenting heat waves, even into October, nobody says, "yeah maybe there is something to Global Warming"..???
Of course, anyone with a modicum of intelligence realizes both claims are quite ignorant. The issue revolves around GLOBAL temperatures over long periods of time. Local observations are almost completely irrelevant.
Let's first recognize the fact that Al Gore is not exactly the science of GW - just the opposite, in fact. A politico who jumped on the bandwagon and used it to the utmost.
As for GW - it looks like a real deal more and more...
Actually, the Global Warmists do say that.

While you're heating up, Australia had the coldest September in 30 years.
