If you are like me you have probably been wondering how much the glasses of the Hazon Ish sold for at auction. I checked back on the auction site a few times but did not see any updates, so it seems the bidding was kept offline, leaving us curious onlookers high and dry for information.

It turns out the winning bid was submitted by a group of 3 optometrists, 2 from the USA and 1 from Israel,  for the grand total of $17,000. According to the report, the glasses will be on display at each of the shops of these optometrists, on some sort of rotation.
