Unesco Shmunesco
UNESCO voted yesterday on a resolution to disavow Israeli sovereignty over Jerusalem.
In response it has been pointed out that despite the successful vote against Israel, the numbers voting against Israel have actually gone down, with the number of states supporting the resolution is significantly lower than previous votes on this and similar issues, and the number of states voting with Israel or abstaining has significantly increased.
silver lining, and all that, I guess.
To paraphrase former Prime Minister David Ben Gurion, Unesco Shmunesco.
