According to Hamechadesh, the first family has moved into the "new" community of Ramat Trump, or Trump Heights, in the Golan Heights.

Just about a year ago a community in the Golan Heights was established named Trump Heights - Ramat Trump.

Or maybe not.

Being caught in some sort of time warp, the government is approving the establishment of Ramat Trump today.

It seems a year ago was just some brown-nosing to Trump but not anything official. With today's decision it will be official with budgets and everything.

Regardless, with the USA burning down and becoming what looks like a mostly unpleasant place right now, the more new communities the better to welcome a potential influx of immigrants with available housing.

A group of Chabadniks went up to Ramat Trump in the Golan Heights and printed a copy of the Tanya on location.

They said that printing the book gives a spiritual strengthening to the area. They are confident it will make a significant impact on the people of the area and on all of Israel.

They actually printed 3 copies of the Tanya and will be sending 1 copy each, bound in special expensive leather binding, to Ambassador David Friedman, PM Benjamin Netanyahu, and US President Donald Trump. 100 copies, bound normally, will be distributed among the local residents of the Golan.

funny. just because of the name, without knowing anything else about it and how remotely far way it is fro everything else in the country? I am sure it can become a wonderful place to live, like many other places, including other towns in the Golan Heights, but just because of the name??? best of luck to them!

A town village in the Golan Heights was established this morning and named Trump Heights as an expression of gratitude for President Trump's recognition of Israel's ownership of  the Golan Heights..

I wonder if this town will be the first in Israel to eventually host a Trump Hotel..

According to Ynet, today's ceremony was largely ceremonial as no budget has as of yet been set aside for construction or planning of this town, the location has not not even been determined as final, and the temporary government does not have the authority to make such an official act.

I will bring a proposal to the government to call a settlement in the Golan Heights to be named after Donald Trump

Thank you to USA President Donald Trump for today signing an executive order recognizing Israeli sovereignty on the Golan Heights.


Now we just need Israel to recognize Israeli sovereignty on the Golan Heights by annexing the Golan Heights. Yes, it is true there is de facto annexation since the Golan Heights Law passed in 1981 extending Israeli law into the Golan Heights, but there was never any formal annexation.
