Rami Levy Takes Care Of The Orphans of Itamar
The following was posted on Facebook:
That is just beautiful, and beautiful chessed by Rami Levy. Jews care for each other, even when we dont know the other person.
NOTE: The shiva house is not in Itamar. It is in Neve Tzuf and Jerusalem. The original message, which I am not changing, has been confirmed, and the "in Itamar" really just meant the family from Itamar. The story has been confirmed by multiple stories. The text above is copied form the original and I dont want to change it. Thank you all for your corrections (in the comments and via email as well).
Am Segula !!(I asked the person who originally wrote it for a link to an article, as I could not find any report on this. He told me he heard it directly from a family member, and it was not (yet?) written up in a paper.)
Every day of Shiva – Rami Levi (who owns one of the larger supermarket chains in Israel) comes by the shiva house in Itamar and fills the cupboards and refrigerator himself with food for the family and guests.
Today - one of the relatives expressed their appreciation to him and he said you will get used to my face. I have committed myself that every week I will deliver food and stock your home until the youngest orphan turns 18 years old.

That's really amazing, thanks for posting it
ReplyDeleteThe Gates Of Heaven are always open to the cries of orphans. G-d hears them and sends an angel of mercy to show them His kindness.
ReplyDeleteWhat the sage Shalom Shabazzi wrote centuries ago is indeed true!
Am Segula!
One correction - he goes to the shiva house in Neve Tzuf. The family is not sitting shiva in Itamar.

ReplyDeleteIn these critical times, when nations are challenging one another and violence is increasing in an unbelievable manner, the Jews have the power to bring about peace in the entire world.
ReplyDeleteIn order that the entire world should be orderly, it is essential that each and every one of the "seventy nations" should be influenced so that they will work on settling the world through spreading the Seven Mitzvos & influencing the nations to keep their mitzvos, in order to assist our task of making the world into a dwelling place for G-d, and help bring about the arrival of Moshiach. Every individual must do everything possible to hasten his coming. In order to bring awareness of these Seven Mitzvos to the world I have recently created a blog for this sole purpose
http://creedofnoah.blogspot.com
Please add this to your blogroll (& encourage your fellow bloggers to add my blog or add it to their social networking sites) to help spread the awareness of the existence of the Noahide Commandments. Appreciated.
