Rut Rozovski, a single (divorced) mother of three, qualified in the auditions for Master Chef this week.

Why is this interesting?

It really isn't. But her story got the judges. Rut describes herself as having grown up Haredi but made a decision to leave the Haredi community because she knows it is very difficult to be a part of the community as a single mother. Interestingly she seems to be still religious, even if not quite Haredi, and admittedly still lives in a Haredi community.
