MK Uri Maklev (UTJ) is proposing a law that would freeze a law proposal recently proposed by MK Ahmed Tibi (UAL).

MK Tibi recently proposed a law that would grant compensation to travelers who were unable to travel during the period of Corona and thereby lost the value of their plane tickets.

MK Maklev is now proposing to freeze that compensation for a period of 9 months to allow the affected businesses a recovery period. If they would have to pay all that compensation now, while still struggling due to Corona, it would be too much of a financial burden for them to bear.

Being that Tibi is in the Opposition and Maklev is in the Coalition, it seems likely that no matter how hard Tibi fights for his law right now, Maklev's is the more likely to go into effect.

Today MKs Ahmed Tibi and Osama Saadi (UAL) submitted a law proposal that would limit the amount fo time the government can hold the body of a killed terrorist to a maximum of 5 days from the time the body is identified.

In the proposal they explain that holding the bodies of terrorists is leftover from the '70s and is damaging to religious sensitivities and is degrading to the Palestinians.
